Description
Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the After School Assistant assist in the implementation of age appropriate learning and enrichment activities and is responsible for the supervision of children in attendance in the After School Program.
Assist the Site Supervisor in the implementation of the daily program. Assist the Site Supervisor in preparing the program environment, setting up activities, and preparing needed materials and supplies. Assist Site Supervisor in creating documented lesson plans. Supervises children in all areas the program operates. Assumes a shared responsibility for daily housekeeping task. Has the ability to take messages. Uses age appropriate behavior guidance techniques. Treats children and staff with dignity and respect. Assist staff with other duties as assigned. Attends all staff meetings and recommended training.

60 units or pass a paraprofesional
